Caliper Paint

Hey guys, I'm about to bring the z out of winter storage (i cant wait

) and I am trying to decide what color to paint the calipers because since I got new wheels they are pretty visible. i have a 2000 pewter metallic z. I was thinking red or black. Any ideas??

I like red calipers with chrome rims but thats just my taste. But the only thing that really counts is what you like. Because the car is YOUR car.

I painted mine orange it looks great, I was going to paint it red but almost everyone that I've seen has red. And my car is pewter metallic.

I used "hi temp" engine block paint, and painted mine flat black with 3 yellow stripes (front) 1 yellow strip on the rears.

You could use a hi temp clear coat after the color.

There are some companies that make colored covers for the calipers, however it was not for me.

I went with black...so u can't really see from too far away...no bling 4 me.

I ordered the paint the other day, going with red, but I thought about orange!

Nah. Go with red. Stands out more.

Red stands out more, but depending on your accent colors and such, you may want to go body color.... for instance silver didnt stand out much, so i went black.....

blue would look badass on a pewter car...i think at least. i have red calipers on my MBM TA. (well soon will once i swap the '06 Corvette brakes/rotors on)
