I am buying it for a DD, with drag/strip racing on the weekend. I would also be interested in track racing.. (possibly)

The 4.10s may not be very fun for DD. Anyone with 4.10s care to chime in.

Were you looking for a car that was already modded?

Thanks for the input but you just hi-jacked my thread with your forsale car...

You should remove that and make your own....

Sounds like a decent deal the 9in is a huge plus. 4.10s are fine for a DD if it's an M6. If it's an A4 it will suck.

4.10s are a nice match for a M6, so I don't imagine that would be a problem. The mods are helpful (especially the 9" rear). The price seems quite fair, so I guess it's time to pull the trigger!

I had 4.10s / 9" in my 93 T/A and the car drove great on the street.

Yep. I lost about 1 mpg on average when I when to 410s. You just have to try and keep your foot out of it. I'm averaging between 19-21mpg with my 410s I was in the 20-22mpg range with my 342s. The difference in acceleration was well worth the 1mpg I lost. Highway cruising is fine too. I think at 70mph I'm around 2000rpms.

....but wouldn't you think that the guy probably beat the hell out of it for those 80k with all those mods? Just a thought... but if it's still in pretty good shape, that sounds like a car thats already pretty strong for a good price...

Possibly not... 90% of the people here have modded cars, like myself.. And I don't "beat the hell out of it every day" There are some cars that do get beat to death though, but they are normally everyday track cars versus one that was someones street car... Not every modded car has been beat down
