Citrus(burn't) Orange- 2001 Camaro SS
BOTTOM or TOP?
i just recently bought a ms3 cam, slp heads, pushrods. Would i be better off by finding a car lift and dropping the motor through the bottom to do the work or just pull the front end off the car and do it all through the top??
Thanks

You can drop the whole k-member or do it in the car.

You can do it either way, Just take your time and whichever way you decide just be cautious.
I havent found one way easier than the other... Both seem to be a PITA..

For pulling heads, I would yank the K-member/engine. The cowl of these cars fights you big time. If it was just a cam swap, In car for sure.

I did the heads/cam on mine all in car. No big deal. Just have to pull the radiator to have enough room to slip the cam in. ls1howto.com has a nice write up that walks you through it step by step.
