Yes, the block. From a lot of miles it is starting to develop a dull color. Mothers polish would take forever and its hard to get into cracks and stuff..

Most auto parts stores stock simple green. Oreilly, walmart, autozone all have them in my area.

don't just spray the simple green on there and leave it though. It'll spot. Also, don't turn a garden hose on it. I just spray my rag and wipe it down and keep a toothbrush around to get in the corners.

We aint talking about cleaning our ass Orion...we are talking about cleaning this kids engine block.

LOL.......No...I dilute the SG 50% with distilled water....then I bought a cheap ass .99 cent spray bottle and fill it up with the SG/Water solution...this way I can control where I am spraying and working.....then I have another bottle of 100% Distilled water and I use that to rinse....then of course wipe it all dry....I use Orions toothbrush for the hard to reach spots but have to have it back in his glass on the sink before he gets home from working at the laundrymat. He gets grumpy. I usually have enough time to make myself a sammich and have one of his beers.....I love Orion and his stuff very much.

haha alright. Im going by the ZONE to pick some up and get a new truck PCV valve with the fixed anus.. lol. We have a new car wash in town that has a super low pressure spot free rinse(a mist almost, less agressive then me taking a piss) plus I have to get some paint and crap.

The new lid exposed some pulleys and crap that needs to be shiney.

LOL.... Its definitely worth it to keep your engine clean. It shows that you care about your car and can notify you of any issue's early on.

Hey sarge is that a/c ducting in your engine bay?
