    Bird down...

We just finished the H/C swap on my friends brothers trans am, and now the dam thing wont fire up. I have no clue what it is either!! Everything went in and out super super smooth, absolutley NO problems. All the hoses and wires are put back in and there are no leaks. We double checked all the plugs and wires and they are all on super tight. THE ONLY THING that i can think of are the pushrods. They seemed to be a little big, but i didnt bother double checking with them. Could that be it possibly? The car will trun and crank but it wont fire, its not getting spark. I have work all day tommorow, and they are leaving for vacation tommorow afternoon. I have the key to their garage which they gave to me, so i told them if i can think of anything me and a few more friends will go check it out. ANY1?????

What type of lifters did you use ? Comp Pro Magnums are like using solid lifters...Or, are you sure there's no spark ? Or does it spin over freely with no compression ?

Yes, they're not re-usable. I used stock GM, but on my new build, I just ordered ARP head ans main stud bolts !

lol, i didnt even notice it. I sometimes leave the F out of Shift and i get tons of replies about it. but anyhow, back to topic, Bad compression could be the culprit, but make shure you check your ignition cycle, if you have bad grounding your puel pump is not going to activate and youre not going to have spark. if you hear the pump, then theres no grounding problem.

Just happened to a local guy here. Check your neutral safety switch if you have an auto. Somehow it got disturbed in the swap and his was doing the same thing.
