Bingo!!!
Today i noticed some white stuff near the #2 spark plug and wire. I pulled the wire out and it was split in half. Could this be a cause of my missfire??LOL. I dont know how it happened? Does any1 use the metal tube thing from the original plugs to wrap around the new ones? If so maybe the heat from the exhaust manifolds caused it to bend and split?

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
Was the plug or the wire split in half? Nothing should touch the manifold, it will definately burn through.

If the wires ride to close to headers over time they will dry and crack......seen it happen many times before.

When I replaced my stock wires, I had the metal boot reinstalled, and then added the aftermarket heat boots, and I have a stock engine.
