Bigger Rotors?
Would putting C5 12.75 inch rotors on my Formula have any negative effects? (beside the cost) I am currently running 18 inch wheels, anyway.

Well one of my rotors needs to b replaced, and i figured time to upgrade. So, here i am, and i mean, if the vettes can run them then can't we (f-bodies). i know i've i heard of ppl doing C5 brake package upgrades b4, but i was just woundering if there would be any downside. I honestly think its not a problem but i weasn't 100% sure so thought i would see what the fellow "ls1ers" would have to say. And would it really weigh that much more?

I have the C-5 upgrade on my 99 Z-28. There is no downside. Stopping is much better with it. You will need to find the "Bob Bishop" bracket to make the 12.75" rotor fit the f-body. Go to the "f-body road racing and autocross" web site for all the info you will need.
