    Big Fn Problem!!!

    ok i have a 96 trans am lt1, and i am installing some headers, and i was taking off the exhaust manifolds and the bolt that is against the firewall is broken, i didnt even turn it with a wrench and it practically fell off. so its in the head and i was feeling for the bolt on the passenger side firewall , and its fuckn broke as well...WHAT THE HELL!!! so now i have broken bolts off in each of my heads!! How do i get them out, never done this before?

    Going to have to drill them out. If you have enough room to get to them. If not then your going to have to pull the heads inorder to get a clear shot at them. If the head just broke off maybe you can luck out and pull the manifold off and be able to slide some visegrip pliers in there to back it out.

    Sounds like a job for Craftsman Broken bolt extractor. Pretty sweet tool. Used it on my last brake job....stupid caliper.

    Well yall aren't gonna believe this shit, but on the back and front of the heads this one extra bolt hole on the heads , why I don't know, but I went home and looked and the bolt I broke is the farthest back well there is an extra bolt hole right in front of it and that's the one I gotta use to mount my headers and not the broken one!!!! WWWOOO. HHHOOO what a relief!!! So headers install continued!!!
