best spark plug is kind of a opinion and based on your set up and your expectations of life.
the ngk t55s are widely ran on this and ls1tech's ..they are a copper core and as such have a relatively short life.
you could also run platinum and such plugs that will last a very long time.
the bottom line is for your mods and most applications ...spark plugs dont really matter..so pick the t55s or the oems.

I just put some TR55's and they run great. I'm checking to see how long they last. I'm hoping they last me 50k. I do occasional street racing but I drive the car fast. Before these I had the OEM platinums and they were good no problems. i just replace my plugs every 50k.

2007 Cadillac Escalade- 98 Camaro SS, 09 G8 GT
If you didn't buy the wires yet I would suggest going with a set of MSD's. There pretty cheap (see them all the time on ebay for $40-$50) and have very little resistance (only wires that have less resistance are the GMS wires). As far as plugs, the TR55's are great. Me personally, I like the AC Delco Iridium's for a bolt on car (used to be part number 41-985 now they are 41-104).
