Which BCM
Well thanks to Knight a member on here i was able to narrow it down to the BCM with all the problems im having. I thought it would be as easy as just getting any BCM and installing it but come to find out there are different kinds depending on the options your vehicle came with out of the factory. My 01 Z28 M6 is fully loaded.
Does anyone know what BCM i would need for a 01 Z28 M6 fully loaded from the factory? There is one thats coded 1625-5931 DWM and the other is UPL or another one thats 1623-9981 KUB. If i pull out my stock BCM will it say on it what BCM i need and do i need the dealer to still to reprogram anything?

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
The dealer will have to re-program it according to your VIN #. I was quoted $95 to do this in addition to the cost of the BCM.
GMPartsDirect.com has it for $154.61 plus shipping. You will need to give them your VIN#.
Body control module, all models, w/keyless entry
97-02 $154.61
Here is a link to it. I hope it works.

If not you will need to do this after you enter the Yr/Make/Model (Firebird)
Click on Electrical
Then Instruments & Gauges
Then Controls
Then Body Control ModuleLast edited by SMWS6TA; 04-18-2011 at 09:28 AM.

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
Hope it works for you. As SMWS6TA stated, you will need it programmed by the dealer. Keep us posted as to how it goes.
