    Back Seats!

I am in California and my car in Texas so I can't really look at it right now, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to take out the back seats of my Trans Am. When I get back to Texas I will be in a hurry to do it and get back on the road so I dont think that I am gonna have too much time to figure it out. If you know like what size sockets or whatever is needed that would be a great help too.

    TIA

Ive taken the seats out of 2 different birds, and its really not a long process.. The buckets come out by a little clip under the seat you might have to lift it up a little to see it. And the seat back has to be un bolted as well as the seat belts i think. Your gonna need a set of big TORQUE STAR screwdrivers or allen wrenches... and some sockets.. My TA is in Illinois right now sleeping, while im here in CA.. so i cant go check.. Just take a few minutes and examine and look for any brackets, bolts etc holding em down, then disassemble. Total weight savings... maybe 15 pounds... take out the seats and the spare and jack maybe about 70or so pounds.. I took out the seats, spare and jack and took off the catback.. (just turndowns after the cats) so im possibly saving about 140 or so lbs... shes a lightweight now slammed on 16's .... anyways man,... good luck besafe and have fun
