    auto door locks?

    my doors dont auto-lock on my 2000 z28. My vettes do and 99 mustang i had did. Is there a setting for this or do they just not autolock after getting in car and driving?

    it should say in the owners manual how to program you car to do so.

    I looked in the owners manual and dont see any info about it locking automatically. Other vehicles locked automatically when you start driving.

    I thought you meant after you leave the car and it will lock itself if you forgot to lock before shutting the door, i programmed mine to.

    i dont know anything about it locking after you start driving.

    You'll need to get a aftermarket alarm if you want the doors to lock/unlock when you start/shut-off the car. But then you'll run into GM's niffty door lock switch deactivation...have fun
