    anyone have LINE-LOCK SYSTEMS installed on their birds?

    if so do they work well, and where did you buy them, thanks.

    As much as I hate to push an SLP product....theirs works GREAT for me.

    SLP has a good linelock and a good lid. Go elsewhere for anything else.

    what exactly does a line lock do for performance? and are they easy to install? Also can you use them for launches? and what do you use it for?
    2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

    has nothin to do with performance,all it does is keep your front wheels locked so you dont roll off the line or when doing a burnout,mostly used for manual cars.

    Here's mine:







    I suggest a enable switch under the dash, then a momentary and a locking switch in the ashtray for ease of use. ;-)

    I use my linelock to get my tires nice and toasty prior to a launch at the drags.

    I also have the SLP one, picked it because the lines were all pre-bent.



    Heres a picture of the switch I used



    and heres it lit up when the line lock is activated

    forgive me for being a morron but now did you wire the switch to go next to the TC button? nice stereo btw is it Alpine?
