Anyone an expert on CT's emissions?
I want to get an ORY pipe, but I'm not definite about Connecticut's inspections. I heard that I will pass if i'm not throwing any codes, like if i get o2 sims, but my dad said the last time he went in a 95 passat, they looked under the car with a mirror. I've also heard that they only scan the computer for codes on cars 96 and up. Is this true?

I just went with my car recently and they do check under the car, the only way around not having cats is to cut your old cats in half and weld them to the ory, get some o2 sims, and make sure your not throwing any codes, and your guaranteed to pass. All they do besides check under the car is a quick plug and play with your pcm. Only took like 5 minutes.
