Anyone ever seen this before?

I just got done installing the motor on my 02 ws6.
After all was done, I found this plug that is wired to a switch in the ashtray. It's right next to the passenger side 4 plug harness. Anyone have any thoughts as to what it could be for?
It's looped into itself, but the plugs match the 4 plug set that run along the fender well.

Looks damn odd to me. Red, white and black almost appear to be an aftermarket gauge wire harness even though it runs to a switch. The wire loop has me stumped as it looks like it does a whole lot of nothing. Does the black wire run to a ground?

Maybe to a no longer there line lock?

Wrong side of the engine bay for a line lock. Still stumped.
