Anyone else have idle dipping problems?

After my cam install my idle dips while slowing down, or coming to a complete stop. Likes to dip to 500 and come right back up. My tuner used edit and couldn't solve it. It is when I let the car out of gear, especially when I am coming to a stop under 10 mph. Anyone with tuning capability near Philly or can fiure this out?

what are the specs on the cam? i had a car with too large a cam for the motor. when you jammed the brakes hard the car would almost stall. the cam didnt produce enough vacuum for the booster.

It sounds like a problem with the throttle cracker table. That's the table that adds airflow for a given RPM and MPH by using the IAC valve in the throttle body.

The other option is to try and cure it with the TB set screw. If you open the throttle body up some to let more air in, it might help. But if you open it to the point where the IAC valve is completely closed, it won't be able to control the idle airflow effectively and you'll have a high idle condition instead of a low one.

    TR224 .563 on a 114.
As far as the TB, he drilled a small small hole in it to feed some air.

Put a vacuum can on it.
