i just did mine two weeks ago, its really simple actually take off door panel drill out rivets that are holdin on the old motor make sure you remember the position the old one was in i couldnt remember the position mine was cause as soon as it had the last rivit out it fell, but once the old one is out put the new one in its kind of tricky youll need some one to shoot the first new screw in whyll you hold the motor, but once that first one is in its a breeze and dont forget to re hook the motor to the regulator once you stick it in

The biggest tip I can give you is do NOT waste your money on knock off parts, get an OEM window motor. I had a 1998 before my 2001, both of which I replaced motors in a couple times....knock offs do not last anywhere near as long as OEM ones.

you don't have to use the bracket that comes with the motor.

and use bolts, not pop rivets....its easier and more than likely you'll be doing it again

I was going to say the same. Either that or rivets. Last thing you want to do is have to take out your door panel when its raining because a nut came off.

I agree with buying a factory AcDelco motor. I have replaced both of mine, one with a autozone unit and another from rockauto and there both slow and noisey.
