Anone else have problems with their billett TB sticking?

This is the second time I have had problems with my billett throttle body sticking. The first time, it would stick closed, now it's sticking OPEN. All of the sudden I have full time cruise control.

The guys at HPE suggested installing a return spring, to "help" return the blade to closed. Anyone else run into this?

Let me guess, you're running a billet TB too? Wonder if that's what happened?
txcosmos, whatever you have to do I would do. That's a dangerous situation you're in. Have you manually opened it and watched to see why it's sticking? Is it binding or is there carbon build up on the blade or something?

Yeah, there's a little buildup, nothing that should make it stick. I have had problems in the past with it sticking shut, but now it sticks open.

    It's an MTI...

steel wool the the area where the throttle blade rides its usually because the fitment is off slightly..look in there for wear marks.....worked on mine.

don't get wool fibers in the motor take it off since its so easy

well, got the stocker on there right now, and the problem went away. Hopefully when I get it back from Shaner, it will be as good as new, or better than new.

Huge difference in throttle response, and overall performance with the stocker opposed to the ported TB. I can't wait to get it back on!
