    Alarm goes of randomly?

    My 99 trans am recently started having problems with the factory alarm. It will go off and make two beeps. Then stops. Sometimes it will be non stop.. Sometimes loud noise, touching the car or nothing will set it off. Would like to know what this may be

    Does your dome light come on when you open the doors? I ask as it could be a sticking door switch which could be tricking the alarm into thinking a door is open. I went through that with my car. Check all door switches(doors, hatch and hood, if you have a hood switch).

    Check the shock sensor. It is located in front of the spare tire. There is a knob to adjust the sensitivity.
