Air lid and Mass Airflow Sensor

Just bought a 02 WS6 and I want to start off by putting a air lid and mass airflow sensor. What would be the best brand and how much more power will the combination make. Any other suggestions. Thanks.

Get the lid and do the FRA mod....forget about the MAF, the stocker is fine and you won't get much gain from a aftermarket one. http://installuniversity.com/install...sity/index.htm Go there for some free mods and other useful stuff

MTI did the best out of all the lids that were 78mm on GM HIGH TECH. Thats what im running. instead of getting the MAF which you dont need, if anything the thing now is to go mafless

get your TB ported or get a ported one. You'll see better gains that way. If your not tuning the car yourself (which im sure your not since your asking about the basic "my first mods", no offense) then i wouldnt descreen the maf either. it will make you run lean and you dont want that unless your tuning it. I, along with many other think SLP is overpriced junk! the customer service isnt up to par either....hope their not a sponsor
