    Air/Fuel Gauge install...

So, I have a narrow band A/F gauge just for show (filler on the pod for now). I have already hooked up the O2 sensor to the unit, but I am having problems finding the proper wires under the dash to hook up the +12v fused power, and the headlight/Tail light signal wire. How did you guys install the gauges?

    any info would be helpful.

If you look at the fuse box on the side of the dash, there is a insert labled "IGN". I spliced a terminal end, like the one pictured here on the bottom:

to the wire for the gauges and inserted it into the IGN socke. The wire is then run behind the dash to my pillar gauges. This way they come on only when the ignition is on.

well, i'm long ways from needing or using a wideband setup. I'm focusing on suspension... maybe next year's tax return will work on ARH LTs and etc. at this point, i might aswell hook it up. when i get to the LTs i do plan on installing a wideband setup, by then i'll know where to hook it up =P

why not get something that you'll get more use out of such as a oil pressure gauge or tranny temp gauge or something. I just think those narrowband gauges are exactly what you're using it for...pod filler gauges. Get something you'll get use out of.

I don't like posting pics of progress on custom things like that...I'll show off the finished project when I'm done.

I should have pics up of my final shifter/gauge/shifter boot install done. I finished most of it last night and working on the minor cutting on my lunch break at work.

Next is the fuel pressure gauge mounted under the cowl hood!

I would assume he is using a fuse block with a terminal strip for the ground.
