    Air Delete

Yeah i looked at pajeff02's thread and it doesnt say so...

i have a few questions about the air pump. I have the pump disconnected

Here is the pump and the lines which are still connected

And heres where the lines connect To the car from the pump (just towards the front of where the pump was mounted. One tube and one line

But what do i do with these lines? Cut em off from there? Or cutthem off from the pump? Will i need to clap them?

I just pulled the line off the pump and that's it, but it may be better to cap it. I am not sure if it really matters.

One of the lines into the pump is coming from your air filter - this can just be removed and a plastic cap installed on the side of the air box. The other line will run up to the exhaust manifolds/headers. You will either need to cap the lines, or remove them and install the delete plates on the manifolds/headers.

are you removing the air pump completely?

I ask because there is a fuse that you can pull if you haven't removed it yet and want to get to it later.

I just removed everything, minus the fuse. It was tuned out anyway, and when I bought my headers, had the tubes on the headers welded up and stuck a plug on the side of the air box.

if you remove the pump you wont notice but the plug still have power in it. thats why the air pump still makes noise when you crank the car if you don't remove the pump. i had this issue when I had mine tuned out by Frost and he told me to remove the fuse.

Thats awesome! Because I didn't dare want to ask why I was still hearing that thing make noise. Fuse coming out later.
