I might be the only one to post this, but I think $600 is pretty good. Honestly, I would think the entire setup would be over a grand including labor to install and charge the system. Why would you need the whole setup? Has your A/C system been out of the car for a long period of time? If all you need is the compressor, then why just get a new/remanned one?

Buying the compressor alone will not give u warranty because of the metal shavings n wat not that is in the system hence why u have to buy the whole setup.i thought bout the rebuilt ones but since i hardly drive the car i think wat if doesnt work when i want it too n the warranty on those is only like 60days if that. Guess im just gonna have to bite the bullet n buy the system

$600 is dirt cheap. I don't know about down there, but up here noone is gonna warranty a DIYer fixing their AC. You have to have licensed AC technician/shop do the work. I'd ask about the warranty before you buy the parts.

Most shops won't warranty a compressor someone bought elsewhere.
