air bag light

i changed cluster and now air bag light is on . how do i get it off?

asked this question about two yrs ago.... What I was told is that the dealer has to re-sync the cluster with the Air Bag module.... called the local dealer and he was like HUH? best suggestion is to :

A: take the Air Bag light bulb out

B: Place a small piece of black elec tape under the cluster face over the light... Light will not shine through and you can't even tell it's there..

Had same problem everyone recomended taking it to a dealer. Instead I just took the cluster out when I installed my inlays and covered the bulb with electrical tape. Problem fixed.
