If his problem is caused by the water pump, it shouldn't come out of the weep hole, but the water pump or a dirty system are the two most likely culprits. Technically, it could be a dirty clogged water pump. . .lol

and i know the car is still relatively new but the temp sensors provide proper electric cooling fan operation.

See the problem is, the temp sensor for the guage and the fan switch are located in different places, therefore when lack of flow is the problem one will detect an overheating situation and the other will report that everything is fine. That's why the fans will turn on high yet the guage says it's not overheating.

I'm starting to think that it's a combination of several things giving me different symptoms. Gonna see if I can scrape up some money and do everything at once...going to be shotgunning it but it'll help narrow the problem down. So going to do the water pump, stat, temp sensor(the one on the driver head is for the pcm right?), new upper and lower hose, and completely flush this byyoutch Hopefully the water pump is where i'm losing pressure...seep hole is dry though, but it wouldn't be the first time a water pump went bad on me when being dry the day before.

The sensor on the driver head tells the pcm when to turn on the fan right?

I won't lie to you, so I'm not gonna say. I have a cd coming with all the dealer diagrams on it that breaks down everything on the car piece by piece, just like the dealers parts depts use. I very excited, but I won't have it for about another week I think. It has 1300ish diagrams plus all the wiring diagrams, so soon I'll probably be posting up dealers pics to help all sorts of problems, sorry I didn't order it quite soon enough to help on that one.

BTW...how much pressure loss is too much on a cooling system pressure test?? Shouldn't it lose some naturally?
