advantages of going to PONTIAC DEALER service for OIL CHANGE?

okay guys, i'm a noob. HI. i just wanna know if you guys think its better to go to a pontiac dealership for oil changes because of the inspections it comes with (chassis lube, etc.) as oppose to doing oil changes by myself (which i can). i also wanna know what it is EXACTLY they do when they INSPECT our vehicles? and can i do these myself? THANK YOU

inspection means they verify all your lights are functional, make a visual inspection for any leaks... make a visual inspection of your washer fluid.
Do it yourself... just remember to reset the counter.

thanks and right, i know they do all those you mentioned and thats not really what i'm after, i'm after how they lube up your chassis and etc. what else do they lube up? what else do they do? i need to know exactly what else they do. thanks

There is no chassis lube unless you have aftermarked suspension parts, doubt they'd lube your door latches, etc. Guess you could ask.

front end lube is more like it, and acheck of your diff and trany fluid. thats about it.
