    AC unit going down

It just a matter of time before my ac compressor goes so I was going to replace it before summer. Does anyone know if there is a guide or has anyone done this themselves?
It doesn't get very cold, makes a clicking nosie when I turn it on, and the compressor has oil on it.

I'd bring it to a shop and have them do it. You'll need guages, vacuum pump, etc. I do home AC, if the comp in my car went out I'd still bring it somewhere.

yea u need a machine to evacuate the system and then use the machine to recharge the system.
ur condition could be a lot of other problems tho. dont say its the compressor right away.

I already have all the equipment but I am going to see how much a shop will charge.
If I did have a black car with black leather then I might consider deleteing it but it gets pretty hot in the summer time and I dont think I can get rid of the ac while its my daily.
    Thanks

Doesn't necessarily mean the compresssor is going out, could be a pluged orifice tube or any number of things that could mess with the pressure. Find somone with an ASE in HVAC (or any GOOD auto air guy) and have him slap some gauges on it first.
