Ac compressor not kicking in
Hey guys about one month ago my ac was blowing cold, now the ac is blowing but not cold at all. I noticed the revs weren't going up as it normally did in the past so uncheck under the hood and realized the compressor wasn't even cold. I tried throwing some freeon in their but nothing happened...
Any thoughts

It may be a clogged accumulator, a bad low pressure switch or a wiring issue. Start cheap (wiring) and work you way up to replacing parts.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I usually do a momentary jump on the low pressure switch connector to see if the system kicks on. If it does, then you are either low on freon or the switch has failed.

Jeff knows the trick. Do you have a paperclip ?

It could be low freon level like Pajeff mentioned. To momentary test the compressor you need to located the low pressure switch and disconnect the plug. Using a paperclip jump the connector and see if the compressor clutch engages. If it does then the sensor could be bad or you need to add freon. I will check the freon level too most of the time is a leak in the system that cause you to lose freon. The switch is located in the passenger side of the engine compartment close to the were the shock absorber mounts. Here is a pic of it. Is the plug to the left of the strut bar bolt.

Easy fixes that cost nothing are always a good thing.

I crossed up the wiring on my O2 senders one time. Sends the PCM into fits -- adding all it can to one bank and subtracting everything from the other. Stuff happens.
