AC ??
Will I lose refrigerant if I have the AC belt off and still turn on the vent fans and use the heater? Like if I had the switch on max ac or whatever will it mess up anything since the compressor isn't running?

No, but why would you have the MAX AC on anyway?

im sure the vent controls work normally, you just arent spinning the compressor. on max you are reciculating the cabin air, other a/c positions you are bringing in outside air. and remember, even with the belt off, any a/c switch position still locks up the clutch on the front of the compressor. just curious, dont you like a/c? youre not saving any power[ not noticeable anyway]cuz if you dont turn it on the belt and pulley spin perfectly free.

Alright sweet! I had the belt off to try to track a weird noise going on with something to do with the accessories. Thought it helped but it came back Think its the PS pump (ER). I'm just too lazy to put the belt back on, and I never use AC anyway but just don't want to lose any refrigerant in case I move down south.

A/C Repair = Expensive!!
I used to be ASE certified in A/C repair and people never understood how much it costs in parts/labor. Bring in their bucket and give them a quote just to see their jaws drop haha.
When my A/C breaks.....well my windows are used more frequently haha!
