abs and air bag light on

hey guys, this is my first post for help since becoming a member, hopefully i am in the right one... anyways i just done a 02 v6 to 98 ls1 swap in my firebird and have had a few issues including my air bag and abs light on. i never had an issue before the swap so i know its probley wiring. as for as air bag, i swaped out the passenger side with the 98 one but i repinned the driver side (didnt have one. i did notice the yellow wire in the harness to the module was not pinned in and not sure what slot it goes in. now the abs, basically everthing is the same as for as the 02 components (except wiring) so i dont know if the module needs repinned or i have to change to a 98 module. thanks in advance for for help and suggestions , Rick

I *THINK* you have to replace the BCM. You might have to swap one from a 98 LS1 in. As for the airbag light, you didn't disconnect the steering when you did the swap, did you? You might have broken the clock spring in the column.

I could be wrong and others will post in here.
