    Abs\inop

    My car was towed friday and when I picked it up and started it I had the ABS\INOP light on the dashboard. It stayed on for a minute or so and turned off. this has never happened before. Should I be concerned?

    Nothing to worry about.

    They had to disable it to get the car on the wrecker.
    Same thing used to happen to me when I had TCS/ABS when I would get off the dyno. Had to be disabled to makes pulls. Stays on for a short time after the car is off the dyno.

    Probably a bad sensor, do you have TCS?

    You need to have the abs computer scanned to help locate the problem.

    After i did my headers it stayed on. It was because my pass front sensor was disconnected, so i would take a peek before taking it anywhere just in case.
