    99 z28 O2 sensor

    i need to replace my O2 sensor on my 99' Z28. i dont know where they all are located. i believe i have three total. i have looked and looked for something on the internet and my chiltons is very little help with pictures. i have replaced many O2 sensors before, just not on this car. i am a converted mustang owner. Please help. my MIL is on and it gives me 3 codes: P0172 (bank 1 system too rich), P0161 (heater rear circuit), P01416 (Air Injection System Failure/Error; Bank Two. Thanks in advance

    you have 4, 1 in front of each cat, 1 behind each cat. Put it on ramps and get a better look under there.

    P0172 could be the drivers side 02 or a fuel issue. P0161 is the passenger side post cat 02 heater circuit. P1416 is most likely just a clogged passenger side secondary air check valve. You can look up the individual code diagnostics at gearchatter.com for your year.

    i tried unscrewing the O2 sensor with a wrench as i have done with other O2 sensors i have changed but it is not budging. i want to make sure there isnt anything specific i need to know before i put some elbow grease into it. because i have never owned a chevy before, i am not familiar with their peculiararites. thanks
