    Talking 99 camaro z28

    I have 99 z28, has a loud cricket noise coming from the bottom of the engine Im thinking is a pulley, im not quite sure. Ive notice it only happens when the engine is cold and warming up. If anybody has any info it will be of great help...thanx. oohhh yeah first time owner.

    try pullys, with the car off rub a bar of soap on the belt if the noise goes away thats where i would start looking if it dont a pully could be bent and rubbing.

    I have a similar noise but I hear it when the engine is warm and I first restart the car after going to the store or something and it goes away as soon as I start driving, I don't know wtf it is but it's annoying, it probably is one of the pulleys, I have just learned to ignore it as long as the car runs fine.
