    That's why i was trying to do it at the time of the oil pan. the K-member is being dropped/lowered anyway. I heard someone used a sawzall, i actually haven't looked yet, but i don't think my saw will fit.. lol

    Not a drinker, but an ice cold Diet Coke always tastes good to me.


    Remove the nut and then slide the bolt up so you can get at it. You may need to just go at it with a hacksaw blade in your hand or a small air powered reciprocating saw.

    Than a 12 pack of diet coke. Found out there are two different racks for the z28s. And mine is the $300 on (vs 200 w/ core) so maybe next week. And since I last cleaned the pan, and sea foamed it..it seems to have stopped??? I had rags down where it was leaking..and they're dry..

    That works! I cleaned our pan on the outside a couple of times and it just kept coming so I was pretty sure I had an issue. No idea why your would stop weeping as leaks usually do not fix themselves.

    Well it went from a puddle to a weep. Lol. I'm in the process of installing the new gasket, the old gasket was toast. Totally a PIA to get out alone. I was also missing a bellhousing to oil pan bolt..

    Chains worked, so did the m10x1.5. Thanks again!
