    What do you call a LS1 that you add a bigger crank to? LS1383 because no matter how you dice it, your using a LS1 block.

    On a 408, you are not using an LS1 block

    thats called a stroked ls1

    just b/c someone said i have a lq9 does mean they have a 402 or 408 even tho 90% are those, there are people that use the lq9 "block" to make a 370

    you can throw people off by saying ls1383, when really you have a stroked ls1

    not saying your wrong, just the fact that some people might not know what that is, like the OP said he wanted to use a ls1 and then he stated he wanted to stroke it now so you see someone might take it wrong

    when i said i wanted to stroke it, i wasnt talking bout the ls1 thats in the car. im just gonna build it up with a cam and maybe heads. than buy a block to build a stroker. but im new to the ls1 scene so i dont know if its a ls or that lq. to me itd just be a stroker. lol
