I don't think anyone makes a 90mm, but TSP makes a 100mm that they have just released (as of today) that's supposed to be one hell of a unit. Too bad it costs $250 or I'd have one.

If you aren't making over 500HP...stick with the stocker.

    You will thank me later.

thats sounds like good advice Luos... I have heard a lot of nightmare stories about aftermarket mafs giving bad readings. Just doesn't seem to make sense to upgrade to 90mm throttle body, and 90mm intake... but ahead of all that you have a 78mm maf restricting it all...

    I understand your point.
The intake distributes air into the heads though, instead of the direct flow through the MAF.

Air flows easy through the MAF location.

well I guess all I have left to ask on this matter is is a 90/90 worth the money if you're not upgrading the maf... my end all be all goal will probably be P1SC on stock displacement and hopefully 500rwhp...

Heard of issues with the FAST lifting off the heads with boost.
Not sure how valid that is though.

I don't see what would make a fast intake lift where as a LS6 wouldn't... perhaps just a coincidence that most guys that are putting down lots of boost and making lots of power have upgraded to a fast... or is there something about their design that I havne' heard about

Seems around here the ones running higher boost levels are using sheetmetal intakes. Like the Wieland.

The FAST is a 2 piece design unlike the LS6,,,which may be where the problem lies that Luos is referring to.
