87 Octane?
Has anyone run their LS1 on 87 before? I would imagine if you don't get on it then 87 would be fine due to the lack of engine load. Just curious...

Ya it was...I can't believe the amount of people asking about gas now. I don't even run 87 in my lawn mower.
If the price of gas is bothering people to the point of wanting to run 87 octane in a performance vehicle,,,then maybe it's time to purchase a cheap beater that runs on cat pee and save the 4th gens for weekend fun.

Black on Black- 2000 Trans Am M6
Even running 87 instead of 93 your really only saving (20 some) cents a gallon. Like only saving 3 dollars and something on 15 gallon of gas.

Your right. Im going to start running 93. When I do, what will happen with the PCM, it will "learn" to run on 93 which will make the car run better? more performance?
