Will it f up my motor if i put one tank of 87 in my 2000 SS??

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
I had to change my fuel filter very shortly after HALF a tank of 87....and my fuel pump went out 2 weeks later...stupid backwards Quik Trip pumps...some of their pumps have the premium on the left instead of right....so I accidentally put 87 in mine without knowing...so much ping in the engine too...not saying my fuel pump wasn't already going, but the filter only had 2,500 miles on it...

It'll run on it. But the computer will most likely pull timing out of it. So your gas mileage and performance will suffer.
