I have a 77 Camaro that now have 373 gears and a 350 B&M trans that is about a year old in the car. The car runs great on the street but noisy on the highway. I am thinking about getting a 700r4 trans to help with the low gearing on the highway or should I just go to 323 gears which would let me keep the new trans, or should I just go ahead and do both and remove the B&M trans.I figure it will cost me about $2500 to do both or $700 to do the gears only.Which way should I go? I also have a 4l60e Trans that's in good shape,can this trans be used in the Camaro with some kind of add ons to help it shift?
