    ?still looking?

    6.0 iron block pricing?

    hey everyone. was wondering if an '04 6.0 iron block(LQ) with a 115000 miles and no harness,ecu,or coil packs is worth $1250. looking to do cam and roots style charger on it and dont know what to expect for engine price? thanks for any help.

    I can get one with everthing on it for $900-1100 with alot fewer miles than that. So no its not worth anywhere near that IMO.

    You can buy a bare 6.0 cast iron block brand new from GM for ~$750. They used to be $600 a couple years ago.

    For a 100k mile plus 6.0 engine without any of the accessories wouldn't be worth more than $500 in my opinion.

    I just bought a 2004 LQ4 6.0 "WITH" the 4L80E still attached and complete with only 80,000 miles on it. Harness, computer, coil packs, drive by wire setup with the pedal and controller, complete accessory front drive system with the A/C compressor, intake, battery cables, all the hoses, motor mounts, intake and throttle body, air intake setup etc..... Basically everything but the truck and I only paid $2,000 for the entire shootin' match.
