What exactly do u mean 500 hp engine. I mean w/ that power u will need a good exhaust/ intake setup. (long tube headers / catback exhaust, whatever the best intake setup is for a Lt1)

yea we need some more details. What kind of engine? Auto or manual? 500rwhp or flywheel. Either way you should do some suspersion mods to put all that power to the ground and prevent it from twisting up your chassis. Subframe connectors at the very minimum.

well im a manual guy, but i know that if you are using a stock A4 that it won't last that long. So i would look into a built trans.

For the suspension i would probably go all out. Things like subframe connectors, lower control arms, panhard rod, torque arms. Then the car should hook pretty good with the right tires.

for the stock A4 most guys put in a shift kit and put a stall in it. Plenty of places make transmissions. I would check out the automatic section of the drivetrain section for better ideas on that. There are member from all over the country and i'm sure there are people in minnesota that have had an A4 built by a local shop.

Make sure you have some good pads/ rotors to slow all that power down. Gotta stay safe!!

12 bolt rear. The stock 10 bolt won't make it. Built tranny as was mentioned.

true, but since he is an auto he should be able to make it for a while without a new one.

Yeah, I know people tend to make the 10 bolts last longer with a4's but that's the kind of luck I have. Tons of it and it's all bad.
I just think a couple of nice hard launches and he'll be looking for a replacement. Just opinion really.

Definately a beefed-up tranny and built rear-end. Stock rears can break under stock power. Possibly a new aluminum driveshaft as well. Suspension also if you want to get all that power to the ground.

You're right, it COULD last a while. But it won't survive the first few hard launches at the track. What good's a stall if you don't use it?
