4.10 gears

So wen i bought my 01 z/28 m-6 i was told it had 4.10 gears but i'm missing the documentation to support this mod, and i'm curious to see if it really has them. How do you know if you have 4.10 gears? here are my shifts

1st gear at 2k rmp im between 10, and 15 mph

2 gear at 2k rpm im at 20mph

3rd at 2k rpm im at 30mph

so at 2k rpm there like 10mph apart

can some one that has 4.10 gears drive there car and shift each gear at 2k rpm and post there mph please it would really help me out or share any information please.

thanks for the link. Well if stock 3.42 are

1st gear at 2k rpm 17mph
2 gears at 2k rpm at 25mph
3rd gear ar 2k rpm at 34mph
4th gear at 2k rpm at 45mph

then that means i guess i do have them cause my gears goes as follow

1 gear at 2k im at 15mph
2 gear at 2k im at 20mph
3 gear at 2k im at 30mph
4 gear at 2k im at 40pmh

so each gear at 2k rpm on mine are like 10mph apart. but also it could be my tires, the rear are 18x10 295/35/18 & front are 17x9 255/40/17 is there another way to find out?

There's an old trick about taping a string on top of driveshaft and spinning the rear tires one rotation and counting how many loops on the driveshaft. Never tried it myself though so I cannot attest for it's accuracy but it sounds logical, If it goes around a touch over 4 times it theoretically should be 4.10's.

thanks for the info, not sure i want to do that lol i guess there really is no way of telling oh well ill just go assuming it does i mean it does rev like crazy fast and spind's hard core but i am pushing 430 out back who knows
