2K Formula idling too low and leaking oil.
Hi there, I have a 2000 Firebird Formula that is idling at 500 rpm when sitting at a stop in drive, this seems to be a bit low to me and it has stalled on me for the first time today. I was able to start it up right away but the low idling has me worried.
I also have discovered an oil leak that seems to be coming from the oil pan, I looked at the Chilton manual and it looks like this might be a pain to do on my own. Any suggestions on these two questions you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just above the 500 RPM mark on the tach, car warm and in gear is normal for an A4. Mine showed it actually fluctuating on the scanner 525-585. Any recent mods/last plug change?/SES light on? For the oil leak I'd recommend getting the car on a lift with a good shop light. Look on the passenger side to make sure the oil level sensor gasket in the side of the pan isnt leaking, also check around the oil dipstick tube and make sure the "o" ring isn't leaking. Just some ideas...and welcome to the board.
