224/224 cam
How much of a power this Cam can make ? 224/224
I think it's smog legal. And could that work with ls6 intake and stock cats?
I'm not sure bout LTs yet but maybe I put em on
I'm askin cuz I think ls1 it's almost gone.00 ss blk m6 " STOCK" strano springs, slp bilstein shocks, adj LCA, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, 2 point SFCs welded,OEM zo6 rims black, magnaflow exhaust, CME exhaust,E/cutout, slp grille, custom front plate mount, HIDs, whistler mod, side moldings delete, slp air lid, ported and polished TB, strut tower brace, 3.73s gears, and some other parts to list!
next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..
02 tahoe Z71 blacked out
00 jeep grand Cherokee limited on 22s.

That is a solid cam.. While it will not get you what many of the bigger cam's do it works great. It has great power under the curve. Heck you might even want to look at a 224/228. If your not after an all out track car it is what I would go with. And yes it will work great with the LS6 intake. But I would go mid lenghts if you can not go long tubes. The stock manifolds dont not help any cam period.

I was watching videos and the 224/228 sounds great so I think I'll just go for that one. But is it smog legal?
I'm in Cali
So with the stock manifolds won't help?

probably not smog legal?? I would guess just about no cam out there is smog legal. You should move to a different state, lol

you need a cam with about -5* overlap to maybe pass emisions.

I heard 224/224 was legal but idk
I knw some guy here he's got 00 trans am
Fixed up. Cam heads LTs no cats
N he don't drive it cuz he's afraid to get pulled over
N I dnt think I wanna go through that

I think I can be able to pass emission with the ls6cam
But how much of a difference or power that can make?

ls6 cam n heads is about 60 or so and the heads are probably a solid 20-25 so maybe 35-40 for the cam???

60hp with cams and heads it's a good gain to be smog legal.
Plus ls6 intake. Free mods. And maybe some LTs.
