2004 5.7 gto exhaust
My buddy has a 2004 gto 5.7 with slp loudmouth 1 on it. He is thinking about changing it to flowmaster or something else. Anyone have any suggestions on what sounds the best and or whats the loudest one? I have a 1998 ss with the same ls1 in it as the gto.
Ps: I have a 1998 ss with the same ls1 in it as the gto if we have the same exhaust system and engine will the cars sound the same??

Determining the best sounding exhaust is going to be a matter of opinion. Try checking out youtube for clips of different exhausts. I personally prefer Borla, as that's what I run. But that's just me. There are plenty of other great sounding systems.

It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

His won't sound like yours because the GTO's are true duals.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I have heard the Spintech on a buddy's car. Definately louder than the LM1. That's why I'm keeping my LM1. I think your friend will like the sound.
