2000 Z28 SS A4 has no cruise control after engine rebuild??

Hi guys, my 2000 ZSS A4 has no cruise control after an engine rebuild where it was dropped from underneath and reinstalled by a reputable shop...I see no particular extra modules or bad fuses and traced throttle cables etc. along as looked for any possible connectors damaged or unplugged or blown brake light bulbs (found nada)...I have read there is some kind of switch on the brake pedal and was wondering if they could have busted it while bleeding the brakes by flooring the pedal?? Please give me a brief rundown how this animal works as I'm feeling the problem is under the hood since the only thing done inside the car was the brake bleed after reinstall...the car did have a XR265HR cam installed with a 3k stall and has only had minor tuning for the idle done to get me thru break-in...I really need your help as I'm a disabled vet and with leg issues that make it that I really rely on CC for trips of more than an hr or so....ANY Help is greatly appreciated!!!!

If all connections/fuses are okay, then I am thinking possibly a stuck brake caliper or you might need a re-tune. Others will chime in to assist further.
