2000 Trans Am Questions and Concerns

I recently purchased a 2000 NHRA Trans Am. I love the car and everything works great! The question i have is, when i am turning right i push in the clutch and turn and i hear squeeks and like clicking noise... is this bad? Sometimes when i start my car I am unable to get into reverse and have to go into first gear before i can. I am just mostly concerned about the squeeks and clicking noises i hear when i turn.. Should i bring it into a dealership to get looked at? Thanks

I don't know what's causing the squeaks and clicks. But I do know that after i changed my tranny fluid, I rarely had to put the tranny in first before I go to reverse. Shifts a bit easier, too.

yeah i have the hurst m6 shifter which came with the special edition car.. I think i am going to bring it into pontiac and just get all my engine fluids changed and replaced? It is a little stiff to shift so perhaps that could be why

The hurst shifter is standard in all M6 LS1's. So its not your shifter

yo im thinking it actually might just be a spring in the suspension. I push down that specific spot and it squeeks real bad. Non of the other springs squeek when i push them down. Perhaps its just a bad spring? Is this common?
