2000 T/A 125k miles?

A friend of mine is interested in a 2000 trans am with 125,000 miles for about $6,000 dollars. it has a new clutch, water pump, slotted brakes, among other things, and is supposed to be highway miles. What do you guys think? Deal or no Deal? looks like it is in very good condition, but looks can be deceiving sometimes. Are there any major problems (motor/tranny) that are usual on a car with this mileage, besides easy fixes like window motors and stuff?

Sounds like a Pretty good deal to me. On the test drive you should listen for whines from either the rearend or maybe the trans. If he does decide to purchase the car change the trans fluid, Plugs and wires(if it hasn't already been done) Might be a good idea to call up a carfax on the car. I have 112K on mine and I still have the original Clutch.
I've replaced the water pump, plugs, wires, motor and trans mounts on mine.
