1997 Tahoe wants LS2 power

I have a 1997 Tahoe 2 door 4wd and want to replace my 350 5.7 with an LS2 setup. Where do I start? For cost effectiveness what blocks are compatible to LS2 heads? Are any L series GM truck motors compatible to do an LS2 conversion?

anything can be done. any GEN III block is compatible with the LS2 heads (someone correct me if im wrong). All the LS2 heads are are the original LS1 Z06 heads. Why not go for an LQ9? It is all iron gen 3 block
