10% ethanol mix fuel
i see that all of my regular haunts are now mixing their premium grade fuels with a 10% ethanol mix. kinda pissed me off right off the bat.
at any rate. i have been asked several times at work about products that remove the ethanol and if we carry them. we don't, so i went looking for some. i found one at wal-mart although i can't recall the name of it.
from what i quickly read it says that it uses enzymes to break down the ethanol. now i'm not really sure about the product or what it does beyond that...how it breaks it down, what it does to the fuel system, burn rate, fuel economy, etc.
has anyone used any of these products or seen any reports on them or know anything about them? if they work and aren't damaging i'm considering using it in the camaro come spring as i'm not looking forward to having the ethanol running through my pump and seals and whatnot...not to mention the reduction in fuel economy.

i understand that. but around here up until just recently several places that either did not blend ethanol in their premium fuel or lied to us and didn't report it on the pumps as they did with their low and mid grade fuels.
at any rate that's not the point that i was trying to make or the place that i was going with this thread. i am asking about the ethanol removing fuel additives on the market.

if you find yourself in wal-mart check out their automotive section...head over to the fuel additives. the bottle that i found is clear and is shaped like the bottles of gunk brand fuel injector cleaner. the additive is blue in color.
